Collection: Jardine Collection

Jardine is the fourth collection by Red Ridge the Label founding artists Anpanuwa Joyce Crombie and Aulpunda Jean Barr Crombie.

A waterhole in Birdsville on the Diamantina River, Jardine (Ngarlpara-ngura) is a main fishing place for community and years ago a camp site for Traditional people where they fished and gathered mussels. 

The first print, Sandhills and Waves, by Anpanuwa Joyce Crombie depicts sandhills after wind storms. The shades of colour are the grasses, and dots are fine sand being blown by the wind.
